Dan Brown for Gulf Racing at Red Bull Ring

In two weeks time Gulf Racing will head to Austria for the 3rd round of the ELMS championship, looking to reverse the fortune of Imola and show again the true potential demonstrated at Silverstone, there is high expectations for this event in the Gulf Racing camp…

For the Red Bull Ring event Dan Brown will take on driving duties with regulars Mike Wainwright and Adam Carroll, standing in for Phil Keen in the No. 86 Porsche 991 RSR who has commitments on the same weekend in British GT.

Dan, who drove for Gulf Racing in the 2014 ELMS in the Aston Martin GTE car, returns to a circuit where he was simply outstanding in 2014;

Team Manager Matt Beers: ‘Dan did a fantastic job for us in 2014 driving alongside Stuart and Roald in the Aston, at Red Bull Ring he lead the race for 2 hrs and really showed what he could do, he is a consistently quick and reliable driver who has great feedback, it made total sense to have him in the Porsche for this round where we need to secure a solid finish.’

Dan Brown: ‘Im really looking forward to driving the Porsche at the Red Bull Ring and being back in the ELMS. Gulf Racing are a top level team and its always a pleasure to drive for them. I need to say a big thank you to Mike, Matt and Owen for choosing me to fill the seat and I hope I can keep their championship challenge on-track.’

Still 2nd in the Championship Gulf Racing are aiming to earn a strong points haul to keep on target for the title and add some silverware to the expanding collection for this season.
