Adam Maguire

Adam Maguire is a 22-year-old Irishman from Kildare, Ireland. Adam has been massively interested in motorsport since a very young age, as well as other hobbies such as Football, Hurling, soccer and running but Sim racing being the most important.

Adam’s sim racing career started quite late relatively to some! Prior to racing on games such as rFactor2 and iRacing he endured many years of success on the F1 games by Codemasters. But, wanting a bigger challenge towards emulating something a bit more like real life racing physics found himself racing competitively across a variety of sim’s and racing leagues. Starting out he raced in the Formula Sim Racing championship from 2016 and 2017, and further gaining traction on simulators such as iRacing in 2018.

He also enjoyed a year’s break from then till the start of 2020 where he was determined to come back stronger than ever. So far it is looking quite good as he is leading the GPVWC Super league championship by quite some margin. While also being at university, Adam still doesn’t have the time as other might to put in the hours and practice but he hope’s to change that for the Virtual Le Man’s and bring Gulf Racing to the top step of the podium. The transition from racing open wheel’s to GTE car’s will be a challenge for many but Adam is determined to overcome these difficulties and reach success.
